# Read Access to Your Current Accounting System

> How to give Rise's accountant read-only access to your current accounting system before the Discovery meeting. Step-by-step for Procountor, Netvisor and Fennoa.

Before the Discovery meeting, your Rise accountant reviews your current books. That needs **read access** to the system you use today. It means the meeting starts on the substance instead of spending its first hour browsing the material together.

<Note>
  **The access is read-only.** Our accountant can see the material but cannot change, add or delete anything.
</Note>

<Warning>
  **We need the access at least five business days before the Discovery meeting.** Reviewing the material takes time, and without it the meeting achieves nothing. If the access arrives later, Discovery is moved.
</Warning>

## The user to add

Your accountant's **name, email address and phone number** are in the email that pointed you to this page. The same details go into the system whichever one you use.

<Note>
  If you don't have the email to hand, ask your accountant team for the details — they aren't published on this page.
</Note>

## Find your system

The Finnish systems below have Finnish interfaces. The menu names are given as they appear on screen, with a translation alongside.

    In Fennoa only a **pääkäyttäjä** (main user) can change access rights. If your Fennoa came through your current accounting firm, that firm is usually the main user. So ask your software's main user to add the read access.

    Tell them three things:

    * **Who to add.** The user's details are in the email that pointed you to this page.
    * **Which rights are needed.** **Vain luku** (read only) on the bookkeeping section is enough. Fennoa sets rights per user, per company and per section, so no access to anything else is required.
    * **There is no cost.** Fennoa does not charge separately for user accounts.

    If you don't know who the main user is, or the request stalls, get in touch and we'll sort it out together.

## Once the access is granted

Let us know it's ready. The accountant starts going through the material straight away, and there's nothing further for you to do before the Discovery meeting.

If a step doesn't work or a menu looks different from the instructions, don't keep wrestling with it — get in touch and we'll sort it out together in a few minutes.
