Before the Discovery meeting, your Rise accountant reviews your current books. That needs read access to the system you use today. It means the meeting starts on the substance instead of spending its first hour browsing the material together.
The access is read-only. Our accountant can see the material but cannot change, add or delete anything.
We need the access at least five business days before the Discovery meeting. Reviewing the material takes time, and without it the meeting achieves nothing. If the access arrives later, Discovery is moved.

The user to add

Your accountant’s name, email address and phone number are in the email that pointed you to this page. The same details go into the system whichever one you use.
If you don’t have the email to hand, ask your accountant team for the details — they aren’t published on this page.

Find your system

The Finnish systems below have Finnish interfaces. The menu names are given as they appear on screen, with a translation alongside.
1

Open access rights

Open Hallinta (Administration) — the cog at the bottom of the left sidebar — then Käyttäjät ja käyttöoikeudet (Users and access rights).
2

Add an existing user

Click Lisää olemassa oleva käyttäjä (Add existing user).
3

Enter the email address twice

Type the email address from the message into both the Käyttäjätunnus (Username) and Sähköpostiosoite (Email address) fields. The same address in both.
4

Check the name

Click OK and check that the confirmation window shows the same name as the message. A different name means the address has a typo — cancel and try again.
5

Set the role

Open the added user from the list, set the role to Johto / Tilintarkastaja (Management / Auditor) and save.
In Netvisor the invitation runs in two halves: you send it, your accountant activates it, and then you approve the user. The invitation sits waiting in between — that’s expected.
1

Open user management

Choose Yritysvalikko → Käyttäjät ja roolit (Company menu → Users and roles); some versions call it Käyttäjäkutsut (User invitations).
2

Identify yourself

Choose Tunnistaudu kutsuaksesi käyttäjä (Authenticate to invite a user) and identify yourself with your bank credentials or the mobile app.
3

Send the invitation

Choose Kutsu käyttäjä (Invite user), enter the details from the message and set the language to Finnish. Send the invitation.
4

Wait for activation

Your accountant activates the invitation with their own authentication. The invitation then moves to Odottaa hyväksyntää (Awaiting approval).
5

Approve the user and set the rights

Open the invitation and approve the user. Give katseluoikeus (view access) to the bookkeeping section and the role Tilintarkastaja (Auditor), and additionally view access to the tilikausiarkisto (financial period archive). Finish with Luo käyttäjä (Create user).
In Fennoa only a pääkäyttäjä (main user) can change access rights. If your Fennoa came through your current accounting firm, that firm is usually the main user. So ask your software’s main user to add the read access.Tell them three things:
  • Who to add. The user’s details are in the email that pointed you to this page.
  • Which rights are needed. Vain luku (read only) on the bookkeeping section is enough. Fennoa sets rights per user, per company and per section, so no access to anything else is required.
  • There is no cost. Fennoa does not charge separately for user accounts.
If you don’t know who the main user is, or the request stalls, get in touch and we’ll sort it out together.
Step-by-step instructions are coming to this page. Until then your accountant team will walk you through it — get in touch and we’ll do it together.
Read access can be granted from practically any accounting system, even though the menus differ. Tell us which system you use and we’ll work out the steps and add them to this page.

Once the access is granted

Let us know it’s ready. The accountant starts going through the material straight away, and there’s nothing further for you to do before the Discovery meeting. If a step doesn’t work or a menu looks different from the instructions, don’t keep wrestling with it — get in touch and we’ll sort it out together in a few minutes. → Contact
