Here are answers to the most common questions from Rise customers. If you don’t find what you’re looking for, your accountant team is always a message away — just open the Rise app and ask.

Getting Started

Rise is set up together with the Rise team: an intro meeting, the contract, an onboarding session, and the data migration from your previous system, which Rise handles. How long it takes depends on which system you’re moving from and how much history is migrated — the schedule is agreed in the onboarding session. Once your data is migrated and your bank is connected, the AI starts processing transactions immediately.→ Step-by-step onboarding
No. Rise is designed for business owners, not accountants. The AI handles categorization automatically, and your certified accountant team handles anything that needs professional judgment. If you ever have a question about how something is categorized, just ask your accountant team directly in the app.
Yes. Your Rise accountant team can help you migrate historical data and transition smoothly from wherever you’re coming from. Let them know what software or firm you’re moving away from and they’ll guide you through the process.
The app is published as Rise Financial by Rise Technologies Oy. Get it from the App Store (iOS 16 or later) or Google Play. Sign in with the same email address your Rise invitation was sent to.→ Mobile App

AI and Bookkeeping

The AI correctly categorizes over 95% of transactions without any input from you. The small number of cases that fall outside that threshold surface as notifications for your quick approval — usually a single tap to confirm or correct.
Correct it with one tap. Rise learns from your correction for that vendor going forward, so the same mistake won’t repeat. Your certified accountant team also reviews the books monthly to catch anything the AI may have missed.
No. Rise reconciles your bank transactions automatically in real time. Your books are always reconciled to your bank balance — there’s nothing for you to do manually.

Bank Connections

Rise supports 3,500+ banks across Europe via open banking (PSD2). Search for your bank directly in the app. If it isn’t listed, you can upload bank statements manually or contact support to request that your bank be added.
Yes. Transactions are retrieved over read-only open banking (PSD2) — the same technology used by major financial apps across Europe. Rise never has access to your banking credentials.Paying invoices from Rise is a separate capability that requires its own payment mandate. Every payment is confirmed with your phone’s biometric authentication before it is released, and Rise never releases payments on its own. An accountant can pay on your behalf only at your request.
Banks require you to re-authorize third-party connections periodically — usually every 180 days, though some set it as short as 80 — as a security measure. Rise will notify you when this is needed so you can re-authorize with a few taps and keep your transactions flowing without interruption.

Pricing and Billing

Rise pricing is based on your company’s size and transaction volume. Contact the team at risegroup.eu or email jani@risegroup.eu for a quote tailored to your business.
Rise includes certified accountants as part of the service, so you don’t need a separate accounting firm. Most customers save around 50% compared to their previous setup — typically a combination of separate accounting software and an external agency.

Data and Security

All your data is stored in EU data centers, fully GDPR-compliant, with tamper-proof archiving. Your financial records never leave the European Union.
Yes. You can export all your financial data, reports, and documents at any time from the Rise dashboard. If you need a full data export, contact support@risegroup.eu and the team will assist you.
